Vladimir Putin Appreciation Page

I am an American citizen and I started a page on Facebook because I found no other place to publicly express my gratitude to Vladimir Putin for courageously granting asylum to Edward Snowden.

President Putin has acted courageously in this instance because there is a cost to him, to Russia and to the Russian people by incurring the ire of the Government of the United States.

 I want him to know that the US Government’s voice does not represent the sentiments of EVERYBODY in the United States and that starts with me - I appreciate what President Putin has done.

In thanking Mr. Putin I am also letting the US Administration know that I support Edward Snowden as an American patriot/hero who has also courageously performed a service to the American people by exposing the NSA’s clandestine and wholesale collection of the telephonic and internet communications of American citizens in violation of our constitutionally guaranteed right to privacy.

I ask anyone reading this Facebook page to act with whatever courage it takes to LIKE and SHARE this page. If we can get 10 million or more LIKES then the Obama Administration will know we are seriously concerned about our privacy.
